I’m soo excited to share these images! Christmas lights are one of my favorite things ever, and Erin and Tate’s winter wedding was filled with them. We lucked out with a not-too-rainy December day, and were able to head outside after dark for a few more photos with all of the lights. At one point we saw a Christmas tree a few blocks down the street covered in red and white lights, and I told Erin it was her call whether we made the hike since she was the one in heels – Next thing I knew we were all literally running toward it as she yelled “I want good photos, they last forever!!” I think it was worth it :)

My sister and future bro-in-law! These were taken at the orchard/produce farm in our hometown, where both Samantha and our older sister Miranda used to work summers (I have 3 sisters if anyone’s counting!).

Lisa and Kåre’s wedding was one of my favorites. Ever. Why? Totally casual and low-key. Around 70 guests. Amazing setting (that’s Mt. Adams serving as the backdrop to their ceremony). Swedish traditions that made the day completely unique (Lisa is half Swedish, and Kåre moved from Sweden to be with her). A bicycle-shaped wedding cake. The best food I’ve ever had at a wedding (Taste Unique in Portland just opened last year, the chefs are straight out of Rome). And for their first dance, they got down to a live band performing Guns N’ Roses – Sweet Child O’ Mine. Awesome.

Britt & Jeff’s wedding was a unique one for me – One of Britt’s bridesmaids is a wedding photographer as well, so I was brought in for a few hours to cover the ceremony and reception. It it was a gorgeous day and I’m so glad I could be there! It was kind of a weird feeling jumping in right before the ceremony and missing all of the getting ready and posed portraits, but there were still a lot of great photo opportunities and I had a lot of fun :) Congrats Britt & Jeff, thank you so much for having me!

Carrie and Jimmy tied the knot last Friday in the Octagonal Barn at McMenamins Cornelius Pass Roadhouse in Hillsboro. They’re so fun and so cute together, I’m glad I could be there to capture the day! Hope everyone had a great 4th of July weekend :)

Susan and Zack . Thyme Garden Wedding in Corvallis

Earlier this summer I photographed Susan and Zack’s wedding outside of Corvallis at The Thyme Garden – These two are so adorable, and I loved the setting. It was the perfect spot for an outdoor wedding – it’s out of town a ways, but there was a whole area where guests could set up tents and camp out for the night so they didn’t have to worry about driving the windy highway back to civilization after a few glasses of wine ;)
