Janene + Kaveh – Corvallis Engagement Session : Portland Wedding Photographer

Last weekend Janene and Kaveh came down from Portland for their engagement session. They met when they were students at Oregon State (go beavs!), so we started out with some shots around campus. That is, once the rain let up… it was a crazy day for weather! It all turned out great, luckily they didn’t mind sitting in the wet grass for me a few times ;)

These two will tie the knot next month at Abbey Road Farm Bed & Breakfast – I can’t wait to shoot there, it’s going to be such a fun wedding!

Tracee - Some of those photos are just pure perfection! Great job! I LOVED the brides earrings in the first few.
I adore the pose about four up, of her holding him from behind. So perfect.

Peter + Kelly – Portland Chinese Garden Engagement Session : Portland Wedding Photographer

Okay, I’ve been a big blog-slacker so here are a ton of photos of Peter and Kelly’s engagement session to try to make up for it!

We shot these last week at the Portland Classical Chinese Garden, and lucked out with a nice, dry day (rare lately!). I’ve known Peter since we worked on OSU’s student paper, The Daily Barometer, together back in 2003/2004. He’s now a professional photographer in Portland, check out his site at www.petercheephotography.com

Being hired by other photographers is both flattering and nerve-wracking… I was really nervous for a few days beforehand, but I think I managed alright! I may have to take a few anti-anxiety pills before their wedding in Hawaii this December though ;) Congrats you two!!

Bunn – They don’t allow portrait photography while they’re open, you have to organize reserving the space after closing. Peter and Kelly took care of that though so I’m not sure of the details! :)

Stephanie + Chase: Portland Wedding Photographer

Stephanie and Chase’s wedding took place February 7th in Portland. Their entire bridal party was so adorable, I love the unique touches they put on everything! I had a hard time choosing just a few to post here, so here’s… more than just a few :)

Their Portland wedding took place at Oaks Pioneer Church, with the reception at Kells Irish Pub.

Congratulations you two, hope you had a great time in the Bahamas!
