Sara & Anthony’s Portland wedding was, in a word, FUN. I’m making a new rule: All of my weddings must have karaoke :) Who knew it could be such a blast at a wedding reception? Congrats you two, hope you’re having a great time in Europe!
One of my (3) sisters got married! Samantha and Mike tied the knot a few weeks ago on a hill outside of Brownsville, with gorgeous views of the valley. A few of my favorites:
Huge thank you to Angela of Tekoa Rose Photography for coming along to second shoot!
P.S. Samantha just started a blog, so go follow it if you like new home projects, recipes, and cute dogs :)
Brenna and James were wed in James’ parents’ backyard with their closest family and friends. Brenna did an amazing job pulling together the details – the reception had everything from popcorn to a wedding cake piñata!

I’m soo excited to share these images! Christmas lights are one of my favorite things ever, and Erin and Tate’s winter wedding was filled with them. We lucked out with a not-too-rainy December day, and were able to head outside after dark for a few more photos with all of the lights. At one point we saw a Christmas tree a few blocks down the street covered in red and white lights, and I told Erin it was her call whether we made the hike since she was the one in heels – Next thing I knew we were all literally running toward it as she yelled “I want good photos, they last forever!!” I think it was worth it :)

My sister and future bro-in-law! These were taken at the orchard/produce farm in our hometown, where both Samantha and our older sister Miranda used to work summers (I have 3 sisters if anyone’s counting!).
A few favorites from Amy & Charlie’s adorable country wedding in Corvallis earlier this summer:
Venue: Beazzell Memorial Forest, Corvallis, Oregon
Loving all of these country weddings I’ve been shooting lately – Cowboy boots, mason jars, row boat?? Amazing. Amy and Garrett’s day was completely adorable, as are they! Congratulations you two!!

Lisa and Kåre’s wedding was one of my favorites. Ever. Why? Totally casual and low-key. Around 70 guests. Amazing setting (that’s Mt. Adams serving as the backdrop to their ceremony). Swedish traditions that made the day completely unique (Lisa is half Swedish, and Kåre moved from Sweden to be with her). A bicycle-shaped wedding cake. The best food I’ve ever had at a wedding (Taste Unique in Portland just opened last year, the chefs are straight out of Rome). And for their first dance, they got down to a live band performing Guns N’ Roses – Sweet Child O’ Mine. Awesome.
