I’m playing a never-ending game of blog post catch up! I’ve had a few clients wondering when their shoot will be featured on my blog, and the short answer is: Eventually! Somewhere around 30 senior shoots, plus a handful of weddings, are waiting in the wings for their moment of blog glory – which is probably why I’ve been posting less images per shoot than I do at other times of the year ;)

I’m still alive! This past month has been my busiest ever (thank you!!), and as a result I’ve been neglecting my blog in favor of getting everyone’s actual client galleries up on time :) I’ll be slowly catching up on the blog backlog, which may take awhile – there’s a lot to post!
Here are some of my favorites from Kayla’s senior session – She is so adorable and has the cutest infectious laugh – and as you can see from the photos, that laugh came out quite a bit during the shoot! :)

Senior season is in full swing! I somehow end up with the funny, smart, gorgeous girls – Shelby was no exception. She definitely had her head screwed on right, looking forward to seeing where life takes her! Thanks Shelby!

If you’re interested in booking a senior portrait session, this summer is the time! A lot of local schools have early fall yearbook deadlines – Salem schools seem to be especially early. Even if your deadline is later, the weather won’t be quite this nice come January :)

Okay I got a little carried away and edited way more than usual for this blog post – I think I’m trying to make up for not posting much this month… I photographed Taylor’s senior session at the farm the other day, we had so much fun. Well I know I did, she may have just been thinking “who is this lunatic?” the whole time ;)

My friends Holli & Jeff, of Holli True Photography in Eugene, asked me to take some shots of them last week – The weather was perfect, I had so much fun hanging out with these two for the short time we were shooting! I met Holli last summer, and I love her and her family – They’re all so cute, and the sweetest people ever. We’ll be meeting up again for their family photos in the future, but for now here are a few of just Holli & Jeff!

Just getting back into the swing of things after being up in Seattle for a photography conference the past four days, while dealing with one hellacious cold. I apologize for coughing all over everyone I’ve come into contact with in the past week! Thank you to my Seattle roommates for putting up with my sniffles and wheezing :)
Last week I met up with Brittany in Eugene for her senior portraits – We’d had some hard time scheduling due to the weather but the day we ended up with couldn’t have been better! I love love love her eyes – I have boring brown eyes myself, and fall victim to eyeball-envy on many of my shoots…
