Brenna and James were wed in James’ parents’ backyard with their closest family and friends. Brenna did an amazing job pulling together the details – the reception had everything from popcorn to a wedding cake piñata!

I worked with an amazing team in Portland the other day to put together some images for Petalos Floral Design’s new line of paper flowers. Stephanie (owner of Petalos and one of my past brides!) makes amazing bouquets from these handmade beauties – if you’re looking for a florist in the Portland area, definitely check her out!

After years of declaring “I don’t shoot maternity” and giving out names of colleagues who are awesome in that area, I finally broke down and shot my first maternity portraits last week for Jennifer and Jacob – and had a blast! Jen wasn’t looking for a traditional maternity shoot, and regretted not hiring me in the past. How could I say no to that? We shot on her dad’s property, and they were total troopers heading out into the muddy pasture for this first shot:
