Lisa and Kåre’s wedding was one of my favorites. Ever. Why? Totally casual and low-key. Around 70 guests. Amazing setting (that’s Mt. Adams serving as the backdrop to their ceremony). Swedish traditions that made the day completely unique (Lisa is half Swedish, and Kåre moved from Sweden to be with her). A bicycle-shaped wedding cake. The best food I’ve ever had at a wedding (Taste Unique in Portland just opened last year, the chefs are straight out of Rome). And for their first dance, they got down to a live band performing Guns N’ Roses – Sweet Child O’ Mine. Awesome.
